DUCHESS HOCKEY SHOWCASE

August 6-8, 2026

The Duchess Hockey Showcase (DHS) is a U20 women’s tournament, and (3) overage 2006 players will be allowed on each team.  Six teams will play in a round-robin format for five games, and the winners will be determined by the following criteria:

1) Best Record 

2) Least Goals Against, even if you have defeated the team that is tied with you.  Least goals against count first.

3) Plus/Minus Ratio – Goals For vs Goals Against

4) Head-on Competition

5) Flip a Coin

All games will be (2) 25 minutes Stop Time Periods.  The ice will be resurfaced after each period.

All games will be played using IIHF Rules and there will be no overtime if the score is tied at the end of regulation.

Teams can have a maximum of 20 players, and each team must have two goaltenders.  Teams will automatically forfeit the game if two goaltenders are not on the ice before the game starts.

One team in the tournament will be an At-Large Team, and any U20 player may sign up.  This team will be filled with 12 Forwards, 6 Defenders, and 2 Goaltenders.  Positions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.  Players may sign up at the Registration Page at www.challengertourshockey.com.
